Too many errors!!

In theory, this book is a good idea, but it has WAY TOO MANY typographical and informational errors to be even considered remotely helpful as a review book! I am constantly finding myself to double check the information presented as my knowledge is superior than the book. I would not recommend this book as a review source - especially since this was 3rd edition book - its extremely surprising and quite sad that this book is still in circulation!

Good format; some chapters better than others

I like the format of this book for quick review. However, there were some errors in it, despite the 'updated' version (why are they still talking about droperidol???). But, I think the key to this book is that some chapters really had good, high-yield facts, and some chapters were terrible with overly wordy explanations and seemingly random tidbits that didn't feel particularly high-yield. In particular, the neurology chapter (which should be a priority!) and the HIV chapters didn't feel very helpful. But, if you use this for a quick, not too intense review just before the exam after using more solid books, I think it can be useful.

Not what I expected.

The book has a large number of questions; however, many of the questions are duplicated. It appears there were a number of contributors and not a lot of collaboration/communication to avoid duplication. I did not like the question style as I prefer multiple choice format with explanations compared to the general questions followed by the answer/explanation as with this publication.
